Trudy is born to our girl Tilly (retired) and sired by our boy Tank (retired). Trudy is amazingly smart, and unfortunately can open any unlocked gate on the property and delights in letting all the other dogs out if I forget to lock the gate! She is funny and you just can't help but love her. She is very trainable and wants to please but has an independent streak as well. Trudy has excellent conformation and bone, gorgeous shiny coat and broad yet feminine head. She is a wonderful retriever as well and lives for the water. She is never dry, swimming on even the coldest days, and she is happiest in snow and mud!
