Twin Cedars Lady Liberty
DOB 3/14/2003
This is Libby. She was from one
of the first litters of Labs we
produced. She was a wonderful
mother and produced litters of
all three colors for us to enjoy.
She was extremely smart and
received her CGC title and CD
title with Torrey as her trainer.
We did not keep any puppies
from her as she was more of an
American type Labrador. She is
enjoying her retirement with her
owners Michael and Nicole and
her "younger brother" Blarney
who is an Opal/Schooner
puppy. One of the first things
she taught her new owners was
that she knew how to open
cabinets, in which she found
and ate 2 lbs. of chocolate chips!
Twin Cedars Let Freedom Ring
DOB 5/08/2004
This is Ruby. Ruby was a top
producer for us. She is the
mother of Bodie, Opal, Maddie
and Jack and grandmother of
Saylor, Cleo and Ruthie. She
was shown by our son when
he was only 6 years old and
was sometimes very obedient!
Ruby passed on her gorgeous
head and friendly outgoing
disposition to all of her
offspring and we were lucky to
have had her. She is enjoying
retirement as an only dog with
the Gula family, and loves
running through the waves at
the beach.
Kerrybrook's Desert Sunrise
DOB 8/4/2005
This is Amber. She had low fertility
(only ever produced three pups for
us) so was retired from our
breeding program. She now lives
with the Snyder family. She loves
to go bye-bye and they are
continually amazed at how smart
she is.
Cedar Ranch She's Somebody's Hero
DOB 9/20/2005
This is Shelley. She had three small litters
but two were c-sections and we feel it is not
right to keep putting them through difficult
births. She now lives with a maltese brother
and loves to lie around and be a couch
potato.
Cedar Ranch Diamond In The Rough
DOB 2/16/2007
Karlie was a gorgeous girl that
produced two lovely litters for us
and now is an only dog for her
owners Tom and Emily.
Kellygreen's Queen Nevada
DOB 8/7/2005
Nevada only had one litter
for us as she was not a good
eater and became emaciated
while nursing pups. She is
enjoying her "brother" Charlie,
a Libby and Decoy son.
Cedar Ranch Buckeye Creek
DOB 10/3/2006
This is Brookie, full sibling to Opal,
Jack and Maddie and half sibling to
Bodie. She was a promising breeding
prospect but tore her ACL while
playing too rough, sliding around in
the snow. We had the knee repaired
and decided to retire her because we
did not feel it was in her best interest to
carry around large litters of pups in her
belly! She is enjoying her new family
and being an only dog.

Alpine Sunshine on the Water
DOB 4/18/2008
Saylor is a gorgeous girl and a
wonderful combo of the Cedar
Ranch and Alpine breeding
programs. She was the epitome
of all we strive to produce,
however, she was infertile. She
is enjoying life with her new
family the Brewers and her new
yellow Lab sister Oakley.

In any responsible breeding program there are reasons that a male or female will be retired from the program. They may have
fertility problems or just may have produced their fair share of puppies (we usually breed our girls for 3-4 litters, and they
retire by age 5-6). These dogs are placed in homes where they are the center of attention and no longer have to compete with
several other dogs for attention. Most people love to get one of our retired breeding dogs as they do not have to go through
the "puppy stage", and the dogs are crate and leash trained and have excellent manners. Here are some of our retired dogs
and their new families. We miss these dogs so much but know that they are well loved and cared for by their new families.

Cedar Ranch Gold Mine
DOB 2/6/2006
Bodie was retired from our
breeding program after
producing four excellent litters
for us. She now lives with the
Mahre family and is enjoying
sleeping in a human bed and
hanging out with her nephew, a
6 month old pup sired by her
brother Jack. It was very hard to
see Bodie go as she was my
very favorite, however, she
deserved to be in a home where
she could be indoors all the
time. We miss you so much Bo!
