Meet The Breeder
Hi. Thank you for visiting our site. We hope you enjoy meeting our special dogs. Here at Cedar Ranch we love our Labradors and they give us tremendous joy and happiness many times in return. We are proud of our dogs' accomplishments and how our puppies have made many families very happy. Please do not feel offended if you call and we give you the third degree, we want our pups to go to homes where they are kept happy, healthy and well cared for, and sometimes the situation and timing is not right for every family. We want the best possible environment for each puppy we place, therefore we have strict guidelines for placing a puppy.

Our names are Rick and Tiffany Ginkel. We have four children, ranging in age from 14 to 6. Our kids are very involved with the care, socialization and training of our dogs and puppies, and they are an integral part of producing such nice, family ready pups. Our children show several of our dogs in the San Diego 4H dog shows, which include obedience and showmanship, and Tiffany is the leader of the local chapter of the 4H dog care and training club.

In addition to our dogs, we have several other hobbies. We enjoy going out to the sand dunes of Southern California with our Dunebuggy and Quads in the winter when it is cool out there. We also enjoy camping in the Sierra Nevada Mountains, where we fish, hike, and off-road. Every summer we say we are going to vacation somewhere else, and every year the Sierras draw us back. Some of our dogs names are inspired by our favorite places there. Our kids also play sports. The girls play soccer and the boys play football. Please enjoy our pictures and we hope to meet you soon!
